I am a graduate student studying journalism at Boston University, and I am currently researching and constructing this (yet another!) website about the craft and history of brewing beer.
My hope is that this blog will grow from a simple log of my exploits to a forum that explores brewing with intelligence, humor and fun! I welcome comments, suggestions and posts that will make this blog a great place to talk about BEER—-the nectar of the gods!

Walking around Boston this past weekend I found myself in Kinsale Irish Pub and Restraurant in the Government Center area. There were 18 beers on tap so choosing was difficult, but I chose Laguniitis IPA from California. It had a fruity , grapefruit like taste that was the perfect compliment to my omelet!
By day’s end I was in the Theater District at Rock Bottom Brewery. My choice from their 6 micro selections was the Improper Hopper IPA. It had a tart bitterness that quenched my thirst.
My beer search will continue.
